Second Row Double Seat Center Seatbelt Retractor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. WARNING: The following procedure prescribes critical repair steps required for correct restraint system operation during a crash. Follow all notes and steps carefully. Failure to follow step instructions may result in incorrect operation of the restraint system and increases the risk of serious personal injury or death in a crash.
2. Remove the second row double seat head restraint guide sleeves. Refer to: Second Row Double Seat Head Restraint Guide Sleeve .
3. 1. Remove the safety belt anchor cover.
   2. Remove the safety belt anchor and position the safety belt aside.

      Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)

4. Remove the retainers, position the safety belt aside and remove the safety belt guide cover.

5. Release the J-clip and position the backrest aside.

6. Position aside the safety belt and the backrest cover.

7. 1. Position the backrest cover strap downward.
   2. Remove the bolt.

      Torque: 35 lb.ft (47 Nm)

   3. Remove the safety belt retractor.
