P0093 - Fuel System Leak Detected - Large Leak

P0093 - FUEL SYSTEM LEAK DETECTED - LARGE LEAK

Description:  This DTC sets when the PCM detects an air leak that exceeds a calibrated limit for greater than 5 seconds. If the airflow entering the engine exceeds the airflow through the throttle, a leak is detected.
Possible Causes: 
  • Unmetered air leaks between throttle body and intake valves
  • Air leaks at the intake manifold
  • Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system is leaking
Diagnostic Aids:  Verify the integrity of the PCV system. Refer to POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) SYSTEM for system information.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to Pinpoint Test HG .
