Radiator Lower Mounting Repair

Repair
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- If equipped. Remove the retainers and the shield plate.
- If equipped. Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.
- Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.
- If equipped. Remove the retainers and the air deflectors.

NOTE: Make sure that no strain is placed on the refrigerant lines.
Remove the bolts and the lower radiator support.

- Using a flat file, file the surface as shown. Use the General Equipment: Flat File
- Using a drill bit, drill hole in the radiator mount bracket. Use the General Equipment: 5 mm Drill Bit
- Install the radiator support bracket and the bolt.
Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure that no strain is placed on the refrigerant lines.
Install the lower radiator support and the bolts.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- If equipped. Position the air deflectors and install the retainers.
- Install the underbody shield and the retainers.
- If equipped. Install the underbody shield and the retainers.
- If equipped. Install the shield plate and the retainers.
