Rear Brake Caliper: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Apply the specified grease.
Material: Multi-Purpose Grease (WSS-M12A4-A2)

1. Position the brake hose and make sure the marks are aligned.
2. Tighten the fitting.
  Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
3. Install the brake hose bracket bolt.
  Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Bleed the brake system. Refer to: Component Bleeding .
NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Depress the brake pedal, check the brake fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir and top up as necessary with brake fluid.

Material: Motorcraft ® DOT 4 LV High Performance Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid / PM-20 (WSS-M6C65-A2)
