Front Brake Caliper: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
  2. Loosen the brake hose fitting and disconnect the brake hose.

  3. Remove the brake caliper spring.

    1. Remove the caps.
    2. Remove the brake caliper guide pin bolts.

      Torque: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

    3. Remove the brake caliper.

  5. Remove the outboard brake pad.

  6. Remove the inboard brake pad.
