NOTE:
Do not touch the adhesive surface during removal or installation of the watershield, as re-bonding will be impaired. If additional adhesive is required during installation, apply seam sealer as necessary to completely seal the watershield to the inner door.
The following instructions must be followed when removing, installing or replacing the side impact sensors:
- Mounting orientation is critical for correct operation of the side impact sensors.
- If the watershield was removed make sure that it is properly installed in the same location as removed.
Mounting position and orientation of the watershield is critical for correct operation of the front door side impact sensors.
