Valve Cover: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Inspect and if necessary, install new valve cover gaskets.

Install new valve cover seals. Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 303-1247 VCT Spark Plug Tube Seal Remover and Installer.

NOTE: The component must be installed within 10 minutes of applying the sealant.

Apply a 6 mm bead of silicone sealant.

Material: Motorcraft ® Silicone Gasket and Sealant / TA-30 (WSE-M4G323-A4)

Tighten in the sequence shown.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
