| B1012:11 | Heated Windshield Switch: Circuit Short To Ground | This DTC sets when the BCM detects the heated windshield switch input has been active for greater than 60 seconds. |
| B1012:23 | Heated Windshield Switch: Signal Stuck Low | This DTC sets when the BCM detects the heated windshield switch is active during self-test. |
| B1097:12 | Heated Windshield Relay: Circuit Short To Battery | This DTC sets when the BCM detects a short to voltage on the heated windshield relay control circuit. |
| B1097:14 | Heated Windshield Relay: Circuit Short To Ground or Open | This DTC sets when the BCM detects a short to ground or an open in the heated windshield relay control circuit. |
| B1133:11 | Heated Windshield LED: Circuit Short To Ground | This DTC sets when the BCM detects a short to ground on the heated windshield LED circuit. |
| B1133:15 | Heated Windshield LED: Circuit Short To Battery Or Open | This DTC sets when the BCM detects an open or short to voltage in the heated windshield LED circuit. |
Possible Causes
- Fuse(s)
- Heated windshield relay
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Heated windshield switch
- Heated windshield grid
- BCM
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Verify the BJB fuse 23 (5A), 14 (40A) and 16 (40A) are OK.
- Inspect the heated windshield relay.
- Inspect the heated windshield grid and electrical connectors for damage.
