Removal And Installation: Fender: Installation

  1. NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

    Position the fender on the vehicle and loosely install the bolts.

  2. NOTE: Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.

    1. Separate the front bumper cover from the fender.
    2. Loosely install front fender bracket bolt.

  3. NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

    Loosely install the fender-to-bumper cover bolts.

  4. NOTE: Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.

    Loosely install the lower A-pillar bolt.

  5. NOTE: Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.

    Loosely install the upper A-pillar bolt.

  6. NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

    Loosely install the lower rear fender bolts.

  7. Adjust the fender to specification. Refer to: Body Panel System - Body Repairs - Vehicle Specific Information And Tolerance Checks .
  8. Tighten all fender fasteners.

    Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
