Hood Latch: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Disconnect the hood latch release cables and if equipped, disconnect the hood ajar switch electrical connector.

    • Disconnect the hood latch release cable.

    • Disconnect the secondary hood latch release cable.

    • If equipped. Disconnect the hood ajar switch electrical connector.

  2. Remove the hood latch bolts and remove the hood latch.

    Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
