- B1 CHECK THE BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE SELF-TEST
- Review the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the BCM self-test.
Is DTC B10D5:94, B10D7:81, B10D7:87 or B10D7:94 present?
Yes REFER to BCM DTC Chart . RESOLVE these Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) first. No GO to B2 - B2 CHECK THE PATS (PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM) KEY
- Verify the correct PATS keys are used with the vehicle.
Are the correct PATS keys used?
Yes ATTEMPT to program the keys again. If key programming fails, DISCARD the suspect key(s). REPLACE and PROGRAM the new key(s). REFER to: Erase All Keys and Key Programming . No OBTAIN the correct keys for the vehicle. PROGRAM the keys. REFER to: Erase All Keys and Key Programming .
