Pinpoint Test N : The Rear Window Wiper Does Not Park

  1. N1 CHECK THE REAR WINDOW WIPER MOTOR VOLTAGE SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN

    • Ignition OFF.

    • Disconnect suspect rear window wiper motor.

    • Ignition ON.

    • Measure:

      Liftgate Rear Window Wiper Motor 

      Positive Lead Measurement / Action Negative Lead

      		 Ground

      Left Cargo Door Rear Window Wiper Motor 

      Positive Lead Measurement / Action Negative Lead

      Right Cargo Door Rear Window Wiper Motor 

      Positive Lead Measurement / Action Negative Lead

      		 Ground

    Is the voltage greater than 11 volts? 

    Yes  INSTALL a new rear window wiper motor. REFER to: Rear Window Wiper Motor - Vehicles With: Manual Liftgate .
    No  REPAIR the circuit.
