WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, refer to Safety Warnings in General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.NOTE: Once this procedure is completed, connect a Diagnostic Scan Tool and clear any DTC's that are present.

- Position aside RH load space trim panel.
- Disconnect the FPDM electrical connector.
- Start and run the engine at idle.
- Wait until the engine stalls.
- Crank the engine for approximately 5 seconds to release the fuel pressure.
- Turn the ignition switch to the off position.

WARNING: Fuel may still be under pressure in the fuel lines.
Always wrap the fuel line connection with a towel before disconnecting it.
- When the fuel system service is complete, reconnect the FPDM electrical connector.
- Reposition RH load space trim panel.
- Cycle the ignition key and wait 3 seconds to pressurize the fuel system. Check for leaks before starting the engine.
