Brake Pedal and Bracket - LHD FWD: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Pull outward the steering column opening cover detaching the clips.
2. Disconnect the headlamp switch electrical connector and remove the steering column opening cover.

1. NOTE: Make sure that the brake pedal remains in the rest position.
  
  Detach the harness retainers.
2. Rotate the brake switch at 45 ° and position the brake switch and wiring aside.

Remove the accelerator pedal nuts and position aside the pedal.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

- Remove and discard the booster push rod clevis-locking pin.
- Remove the nuts, the bolt and the brake pedal and bracket.
