Electronic Latch System

As part of an advanced electronic door latching system, the message center provides electronic latching system fault, instructional and status messages to inform the driver of the system status.

The IPC receives the door latch control-left front and door latch control-right front messages from the GWM over the HS-CAN3.

The GWM receives the door latch control-left front and door latch control-right front message from the DCME (driver front door latch) over the HS-CAN2.
