Wastegate Control Valve Solenoid: Removal

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe LH. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe LH .
2. • Loosen the wastegate control valve solenoid hose clamp and then disconnect the wastegate control valve solenoid hose from the vacuum pump. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
   • Detach the hose retainer from the studbolt.
   • Detach the wire harness retainer from the studbolt.

3. Disconnect the wastegate control valve solenoid hoses and the wastegate control valve solenoid electrical connector. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

4. Remove the wastegate control valve solenoid retainers and then remove the wastegate control valve solenoid.
