Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The DDM/ PDM communicates with the PCM over the CAN. If the DDM/ PDM does not receive messages from the PCM, the window inhibit feature during a start/stop event can be inoperative.

DDM/ PDM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0294:00 Lost Communication With Powertrain Control Monitor Module: No Sub-Type Information Sets when the DDM/ PDM detects data messages are missing from the PCM.
