Parking Brake Control: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- 1.
Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console - Vehicles With: Center Armrest . Refer to: Floor Console - Vehicles Without: Center Armrest .
- 3.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- 4.
Remove and discard the nuts, detach the exhaust pipe and discard the gasket.Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- 7.NOTE: During installation, make sure the cable seal is fully seated.
Remove the parking brake control.

Disconnect the parking brake switch electrical connector
- 2.
Remove the bolts.Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
- 3.
Detach the cable seal and remove the parking brake control.
