Transmission Displays

The message center provides message center displays indicating transmission malfunctions, transmission range selector status and required driver operations (shift to park). The IPC receives the transmission warning indicator request and gearshift lever message request messages from the TCM over the HS-CAN. The IPC sends the transmission warning indicator request and gearshift lever message request messages to the FDIM through the APIM over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN) or to the FCDIM over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN).
