Throttle Body: Installation

NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

1.

Inspect the Throttle Body (TB) gasket, clean and replace the Throttle Body (TB) gasket as needed.

NOTE: Tighten the Throttle Body (TB) mounting bolts evenly.
- Install the Throttle Body (TB), then install and tighten the Throttle Body (TB) retaining bolts in the stages following 2 stages.
  Torque:
  
  Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
  
  Stage 2: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Connect the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector.

- 1.
  
  Install the Throttle Body (TB) inlet pipe and then tighten the Throttle Body (TB) inlet pipe clamps.
  Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- 2.
  
  Install and tighten the Throttle Body (TB) inlet pipe retaining bolt.
  Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- 3.
  
  Connect the quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- 4.
  
  Connect the turbocharger boost pressure and charge air temperature sensor electrical connector.
