Radiator Lower Hose: Removal

  1. 1.

    Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .

  1. 2.

    Disconnect the lower radiator hose push pin retainer.

  1. 3.

    Remove the fasteners and position the turbocharger outlet tube aside.

    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  1. 4.

    Disconnect the lower turbocharger coolant hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  1. 5.

    Disconnect the degas bottle hose from the coolant outlet connector. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  1. 6.

    • Disconnect the radiator lower hose retainer.
    • Release the coolant hose clamp and remove the radiator lower hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
