Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate: Installation

1.

NOTE: Universal clutch alignment tool.

Install the clutch disc on the pressure plate and install a clutch alignment tool in the clutch disc.

Tighten each bolt 2 turns at a time.Install the clutch pressure plate and the clutch disc assembly, align the clutch disc and tighten the bolts.
Torque: 21 lb.ft (29 Nm)

Install the transmission. Refer to: Transmission .

4.

After completing the repairs, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure using a diagnostic scan tool.
