Gearshift Cables - 6-Speed Manual Transmission - B6: Installation

Install the exhaust heat shield and nuts.
- Install the exhaust isolator.

Install the center support brace and nuts.Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

- Install the gearshift cables in the gearshift lever.
- Connect the gearshift cable ends to the gearshift lever ball studs.
- 7.
Install the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
- 8.
- Slide the lock sleeve and install the gearshift cables in the bracket.
- Connect the gearshift cable ends to the ball studs of the transmission selector mechanism.
- 9.
Adjust the gearshift cables. Refer to: Gearshift Cable Adjustment - 6-Speed Manual Transmission - B6 .
- 10.
Install the battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray - 1.0L EcoBoost (90kW/120PS)/1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) - Sigma .
