Disassembly And Assembly Of Subassemblies: Differential: Disassembly

NOTE:
Use vise jaw protectors.
- 1.
Clamp the differential in a vise.
- 2.
Remove the bearing. Use the General Equipment: Bearing SeparatorUse the General Equipment: Puller

Remove the following items:
- 2.
Remove and discard the bolts.
- 3.
Save four bolts for reassembly.

Lightly tap the bolts to remove the ring gear from the differential and remove the 4 bolts.
