Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor: Removal

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- 1.
Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release .
- 2.
Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- 3.NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel lines after releasing the fuel system pressure. Wrap the FRP sensor with a shop towel to absorb any residual fuel during the loosening of the FRP sensor.
- Disconnect the FRP sensor electrical connector.
Torque: 24 lb.ft (32.5 Nm)
- Remove the FRP sensor.
- Disconnect the FRP sensor electrical connector.
