Turbocharger Oil Supply Tube LH: Installation

1.

Inspect the spring lock fitting and replace as needed.
Torque:

Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

Stage 2: Do not to exceed 26 Nm maximum: 450°

NOTE: Listen for audible click when installing the oil supply tube into the quick connect fitting.

Connect the turbocharger oil supply tube to the spring lock coupling. REFER to: Spring Lock Couplings .

Install the turbocharger oil supply tube secondary latch.

4.

Install and tighten the turbocharger coolant tube bracket nut. Attach the wire harness retainer.
Torque

: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

5.

Install and tighten the engine appearance cover ballstud.
Torque

: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

6.

Install the new turbocharger oil supply tube filter and the new turbocharger oil supply tube linked sealing washer.

7.

Install the turbocharger oil supply tube and then tighten the new turbocharger oil supply tube bolt.
Torque:

Stage 1: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)

Stage 2: 90°

8.

Install the turbocharger heat shield, then install and tighten the turbocharger heat shield bolts.
Torque

: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

Connect the wire harness retainer.

10.

Remove the oil fill cap, then install the engine appearance cover. Install the oil fill cap.

Check and top off the engine oil as needed. REFER to: Specifications .
