Pinpoint Test AO : The Charging System RECONFIGURABLE Telltale (RTT) Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Charging System Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT). Refer to Information And Message Center .

NOTE: If DTC U0140:00 sets in the IPC, other observable symptoms can be erratic IPC, message center displays, an always on door or liftgate ajar warning indicator or always on brake warning indicator.

If the charging system status message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the charging system Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) remains in the last indication state (on or off) based on the last message received.

If the charging system status message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0140:00 in continuous memory and defaults the charging system Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) on.
