Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Possible Sources: 

• Communication concern
• Rear camera
• Trailer Module (TRM) concern
• LIN concern
• APIM concern (vehicles equipped with an 8 in (203.2 mm) touchscreen)
• FCDIM concern (vehicles equipped with a 4.2 in (106.68 mm) display)

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks: 

• Verify that a trailer is not electrically connected to the vehicle.
• If the rear camera is not configured after replacement, some video functions will be inoperative. Verify the camera configuration using the diagnostic scan tool.
