Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Possible Sources 

• Rear camera
• Communication concern
• PAM concern
• Trailer Module (TRM) concern
• LIN concern

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks 

• Verify that a trailer is not electrically connected to the vehicle.
• Verify the camera configuration using the diagnostic scan tool.
  • If the rear camera is not configured after replacement, some video functions will be inoperative.
• Verify the visual park aid alert is enabled in the infotainment settings menu.
