The Cd Slot Illumination Is Inoperative (With 8-Inch [203 Mm] Touchscreen Only)

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The FCIM supplies a pulse-width modulated voltage to the CD slot illumination. The CD slot illumination is inactive when a CD is in the CD player.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC	Description	Fault Trigger Conditions
B13DC:11	Compact Disc Slot Illumination: Circuit Short to Ground	Sets in continuous memory when the FCIM detects a short to ground on the CD slot illumination output circuit.
B13DC:12	Compact Disc Slot Illumination: Circuit Short to Battery	Sets in continuous memory when the FCIM detects a short to battery on the CD slot illumination output circuit.
B13DC:13	Compact Disc Slot Illumination: Circuit Open	Sets in continuous memory when the FCIM detects an open on the CD slot illumination output circuit.
