Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

- Refer to: Gasoline And Gasoline-Ethanol Fuel Systems Health And Safety Precautions .
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. REFER to: Battery Disconnect And Connect - Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) . REFER to: Battery Disconnect And Connect - Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) .
- Drain the fuel tank. REFER to: Fuel Tank Draining .
- Remove the right rear wheel. REFER to: Wheel And Tire .

- Release the clamp and position the fuel filler pipe hose aside.Use the General Equipment: Flat Headed Screw Driver
- Disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe vapor tube. REFER to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00C).

- Remove the mounting screw of the bracket.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
- Disconnect the clip and position the hose aside.
- Remove the mounting screw of the bracket.
- Remove the bolt and the fuel tank filler pipe.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
