Component Description: ACM

The ACM can be operated with the ignition in RUN, ACC, or OFF.

The ACM converts the audio signals from the antenna coaxial cables into a fluctuating AC output voltage. This voltage, or AC audio signal voltage from the APIM, is sent as left and right digital audio signals to the DACMC.

The ACM requires Programmable Module Installation (PMI) when it is replaced.
