In-Vehicle Crossbeam: Removal

Remove the instrument panel upper section.Refer to: Instrument Panel Upper Section .
Remove both front doors.Refer to: Front Door .
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Remove the instrument panel side bolts.

Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Disconnect both footwell lamp electrical connectors.

Remove the gateway module A.Refer to: Gateway Module A (GWM) .
NOTE: To avoid damaging the in-vehicle cross beam, use an assistant to carry out the following steps.

NOTE: Remove the bolts from one side completely and support the in-vehicle cross beam before removing the bolts from the opposite side.

NOTE: Make sure that all electrical connectors and wiring are not hindered before removing the invehicle cross beam or damage to the components may occur.

Remove the in-vehicle cross beam from the vehicle.

Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
