Brake Vacuum Pump: Removal

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

- Disconnect and position aside the crankcase ventilation tube.
- Loosen the clamps and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
- 3.
Remove the nut, the bolt and position aside the engine harness and bracket.Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Remove the nuts and position aside the evaporative emission purge valve and mounting bracket.Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Release the coupling and disconnect the vacuum tube.
- 2.
Remove the bolts and vacuum pump.Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

- 6.NOTE: Make sure that the couplings are aligned.NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
Remove and discard the gasket.
