Active Grille Shutter - 1.6L EcoBoost (110kW/150PS) - Sigma/1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) - Sigma: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

   Release the retainers and remove the radiator sight shield.

   Remove the CAC. Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) .

   Disconnect the electrical connector.

   Detach the wire harness retainers and position the wire harness aside.

      Remove the bolts and the front subframe.

      Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

      Remove the lower radiator insulators.

   Release the tabs and position aside the active grille shutter.

   Release the clips and position the lower air deflector toward the front bumper. Remove the active grille shutter.
