Turbocharger Coolant Supply Tube - RH: Installation

    Install the turbocharger coolant supply tube.

  • 2.
    
    Install the turbocharger coolant return tube.

  Connect the turbocharger coolant hoses and clamps.

  Install the 2 new turbocharger coolant tube linked sealing washers.

  Connect the turbocharger coolant tubes, then install the new turbocharger coolant tube bolts finger tight at this stage.

  Install the coolant tube bracket retaining nut, finger tight.

  Install the turbocharger coolant tubes, then install and tighten the new coolant tube bolts in the following 2 stages.
  • Stage 1: Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
  • Stage 2: Tighten 60 degrees.

• 7.
  
  Tighten the coolant tube bracket retaining nut. Tighten to 12 Nm (107 lb-in).

  Attach the turbocharger wastegate control hose retainers.

  • 1.
    
    Install the turbocharger inlet tube and tighten the clamps. Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

  • 2.
    
    Install and tighten the turbocharger inlet tube retaining nut. Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
  • Connect the turbocharger bypass hose and clamp.

• 10.
  
  Instal the air cleaner assembly and the air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .

• 11.
  
  Install the steering gear heat shield and then install and tighten the steering gear heat shield retaining bolts. Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).

• 12.
  
  Install the RH catalytic converter. Refer to Exhaust System .

• 13.
  
  Fill the cooling system. Refer to Engine Cooling .

• 14.
  
  If equipped. Install the underbody shield and then install the underbody shield retainers.

  Remove the oil filler cap and install the engine appearance cover. Install the oil filler cap.
