Turbocharger Coolant Supply Tube - LH: Installation

  • 1.
    
    Install the turbocharger coolant supply tube.

  • 2.
    
    Install the turbocharger coolant return tube.

  Connect the turbocharger coolant hoses and clamps.

  Install the 2 new turbocharger coolant tube linked sealing washers.

  Install the turbocharger coolant tubes, then install and tighten the new turbocharger coolant tube bolts in the following 2 stages.
  • Stage 1: Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
  • Stage 2: Tighten 60 degrees.

  Install and tighten the coolant tube bracket retaining nut. Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

  Attach the turbocharger wastegate control hose retainers.

  Attach the wiring harness retainers.

  Connect the coolant hose and clamp.

• 9.
  
  Install the turbocharger inlet tube and then tighten the turbocharger inlet tube clamps. Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

  • 1.
    
    Connect the crankcase ventilation hose. Refer to Fuel System General Information .
  • Connect the vacuum hoses.
  • Connect the turbocharger bypass hose and clamp.

• 10.
  
  Install the air cleaner assembly and the air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .

• 11.
  
  Fill the cooling system. Refer to Engine Cooling .

• 12.
  
  If equipped. Install the underbody shield and then install the underbody shield retainers.

  Remove the oil filler cap and install the engine appearance cover. Install the oil filler cap.
