Low Oil Pressure Message Center Warning Indicator

The engine oil pressure switch is hardwired to the PCM. The PCM provides the engine oil pressure indicator request and engine rpm data to the GWM over the HS-CAN1. The IPC receives the oil pressure warning indicator request and engine rpm data from the GWM over the HS-CAN3. The IPC requires engine rpm above 400 rpm before the message center displays the low oil pressure message center indicator.
