Steering Wheel Multifunction Switch: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. 1.

    WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings in General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Follow the health and safety precautions. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .

  1. 2.

    Remove the driver airbag. Refer to: Driver Airbag .

  1. 3.

    • Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, start at the bottom and remove the bezel in the sequence shown. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the bezel.

  1. 4.

    Remove the screws and the steering wheel multifunction switches.

    Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
