Powertrain Malfunction (Wrench) Message Center Indicator

The IPC provides a powertrain malfunction (wrench) message center indicator to indicate the following concerns:

• Internal BCM faults
  • Crash notification event fault
  • Restraints impact signal fault
  • Crash detection circuit fault
  • Fuel pump circuit fault
  • Push button fault
  • Battery monitor fault
• Electronic Throttle Control (ETC)
• High voltage battery system
• High voltage battery charger system
• HEV powertrain control system
• Transmission

The IPC receives all the required messages from the GWM over the HS-CAN3.

The GWM receives the body service required message from the BCM over the HS-CAN1.

The GWM receives the engine service required message from the PCM over the HS-CAN1.

The GWM receives the HEV transmission service required message from the SOBDMC over the HS-CAN1.
