Brake Backing Plate: Removal

1.

Remove the brake shoes. Refer to: Brake Shoes .

2.

Remove the wheel cylinder. Refer to: Wheel Cylinder .

3.

Press inward on the tabs and detach the parking brake cable from backing plate.

Remove the wheel bearing and wheel hub. Refer to: Wheel Bearing and Wheel Hub .

5.

Remove the brake backing plate.
