Thermostat Housing: Removal

- 1.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- 3.WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Remove the wiring harness retainers. Release the hose clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- 4.WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the hose clamp and disconnect the coolant hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Depress the tabs and disconnect the coolant hose quick disconnect fitting.
