Coolant Pump: Installation

NOTE:
Make sure that the gasket surfaces are clean, free of foreign material and coolant.
- 1.NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.
- 1.NOTE: Make sure that new components are installed.
Install the coolant pump and the bracket.

Tighten the bolts in sequence order.Torque:
1-5: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
6-7:
Stage 1: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
Stage 2: 90 °
- 3.NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.
Install the coolant pump pulley and the bolts.

Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt .

If equipped with FEAD shield. Install the support bracket and tighten the bolt.Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Tighten the clamp. Connect the CAC tube.Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

If equipped with FEAD shield.- Connect the vent hose.
- Install the turbocharger inlet tube and tighten the clamps.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
