High-Pressure Fuel Pump Drive Unit: Installation

NOTE:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Apply 8 mm dots of sealant to the camshaft bearing cap and cylinder head seam as shown.Material: Motorcraft ® High Performance Engine RTV Silicone / TA-357 (WSE-M4G323-A6)

Install the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit, then install and tighten the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit studbolts in the following 2 stages.Torque:
Stage 1: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
Stage 2: 45 °

Install the high-pressure fuel pump. Refer to: High-Pressure Fuel Pump .
