Brake Master Cylinder: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.

If equipped, disconnect the front drive axle vent retainer.

2.

Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.

Disconnect the 2 brake tube fittings.
1. 1.
  
  Disconnect the primary brake tube fitting.
  Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
1. 2.
  
  Disconnect the secondary brake tube fitting.
  Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

4.

Remove the 2 nuts and the brake master cylinder.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
