Brake Vacuum Pump - 1.6L EcoBoost (110kW/150PS) - Sigma/1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) - Sigma: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe

• 2.
  
  Squeeze the sides of the coupling and disconnect the vacuum tube.

  Remove the nuts and position the EVAP purge valve and bracket aside.

  Torque

  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  Remove the nut, the bolt and position aside the engine harness and bracket.

  Torque

  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

• 5.
  
  Remove the bolts and vacuum pump.

  Torque

  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

• 6.
  
  Remove and discard the gasket.
