| The active park assist chime is inoperative | Refer to the Pinpoint Test | Starting with the ignition OFF, the driver door closed and the driver safety belt unbuckled, PLACE the ignition in ON and CHECK the safety belt warning chime. If the safety belt warning chime sounds, REFER to: Parking Aid If the safety belt warning chime is inoperative, Refer to IPC Hardware Testing . |

If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime sounds, diagnose the perimeter alarm. Refer to: Perimeter Anti-Theft Alarm If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime does not sound, Refer to IPC Hardware Testing .
