Wastegate Control Valve Solenoid: Removal

• 1.
  
  With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

• 2.
  
  Remove the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Refer to: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) .

• 3.
  
  Remove retainers and the underbody shield.

• 4.
  
  Disconnect the wastegate control valve solenoid hoses and the wastegate control valve solenoid electrical connector. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  Remove the wastegate control valve solenoid retainers and then remove the wastegate control valve solenoid.
