Ready To Drive Message Center Displays

The IPC provides a ready to drive message center indicator, which is a redundant indication to the ready to drive indicator. The ready to drive message center indicator is displayed under 2 conditions. The first condition is when the vehicle is placed in START and can be reset or may time out. The second condition is when the vehicle is in START and the driver door is opened. The second condition is also accompanied by a single tone chime.

The IPC receives the ready to drive request message from the GWM over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN). The GWM receives the ready to drive request message from the SOBDMC over the HEV - CAN
