Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
When reverse gear is selected and the ignition is on, the parking aid camera video signal is displayed by the interior auto-dimming mirror, FCDIM or FDIM, depending on vehicle equipment. The IPMB controls the parking aid camera via a LIN circuit.
IPMB DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Possible Sources
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Parking aid camera
- TR input concern
- IPMB
- Interior auto-dimming mirror (with video display in interior auto-dimming mirror)
- Video display concern (without video display in interior auto-dimming mirror)
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks
- Verify the liftgate or cargo doors are fully closed.
NOTE:
Before disconnecting the parking aid camera, verify that the connector is properly seated and latched.
